All about February and Love
February is the official month of love.This is also the month wherein we celebrate Valentine's Day.As the second month of the year,it is found in between the months of January and March.The month of February was named after the Roman god of purification,Februus.During this month,the god of love,Cupid works hard.He targets the hearts of people with his bow and arrow so that these people would fall in love with each other.I don't know if Cupid is really true,or if he is just really a character in Greek mythology.What do you think?!For me there is only one god and that same god is also the one who makes people love each other.Our God above is the very powerful god of all.He can make things happen just as he wishes.Our hearts were given to us by God to use.To share love to others and to be loved in return.That is how He loves us all.Remember he created us people to live here on Earth,one of His many creations.
I wonder why February is the month of love.Why do you think so?!Maybe God only is the one who knows the reason why.Love is a very important thing people should have.It is not only in the month of February that love should be celebrated or shared.Everyday is the right time for giving out or to let others feel your love for them.But it is only in February that we celebrate the month of love.Valentine's day specifically.This is a day that we celebrate love.This is also a special day for all the people.February is the only month in the whole year and in the calendar that has only 28 days in a month during a normal year and 29 days in a month during a leap year.This is also the month wherein the Chinese celebrate their Chinese New Year.The people born under or in this month has emerald as their birthstone while their flowers are violet and primrose.February is one of the months close to my heart.Do you know why?!This month is a special month for me like January,July and December.In this month I celebrate not only Valentine's Day but also the birthday of my best friend here in our place which also falls on the same day as Valentine's Day,February 14.Another is also the birthday of my best friend in my former school which falls a day before Valentine's,February 13.In the months of January and December we celebrate New Years Day and Christmas Day.The month of July is also memorable for me because this is the month wherein I was born.The month of February may not only be important to me but also to other people in the world who celebrate Valentine's Day and maybe their birthdays too.
In UP High,this February we would celebrate also our Science and Technology week.We are planning to have a field trip.I also heard that on Valentine's day,February 14 itself there would be no classes.Ah,too bad.We could not celebrate Valentine's with our teachers and classmates as we used to every school year except Saturdays and Sundays.
